815chan

We just found the Lost equivalent of 4chan.
It's just great. That is to say: it's often funny, it's often unfunny, and just plain inappropriate, but it is what it is. Memes are recycled mercilessly, and almost can't help but end up funny eventually.
Go take a look at 815chan, there are a lot of gems there! It apparently just started up recently, and we love it already.
Hippos on Lost MOFOS!
As we prepare to experience the launch of Season 6, let us take you back in time to December 2008 when we reported on Hippozor, a brand new meme blog dedicated to Hippos on Lost.
Yeah whatever-- pretty freaking random but it was kind of cute.
A few months later, we forgot to post about one of the funniest moments for us in Season 5 in March 2009, the broadcast of "La Fleur". Because what do you know, RIGHT THERE WAS A HIPPO SMACK IN THE MIDDLE OF LOST.
Of course we're talking about the 4-toed statue, seen complete for the first time, revealed as an Egyptian hippo goddess. And what do you know, when we Googled Hippos... THEY HAVE FOUR TOES.
We absolutely couldn't stop laughing when we went back to the Hippozor blog, and this is what we saw:

Now we want our hippo flashback episode.
Aaron's LOST Recaps
From Funny or Die are a series of great Lost episode recap reviews, all from the perspective of three year old Aaron! Here's Aaron's recap #7 of the episode "He's Our You". Kudos to the author TheBeatboxMaster for making these.
You can see the whole series here. They're all great, watch them all!
HijiNKS Ensue on the S5 Finale

(Click for link to comic)
Pop culture webcomic HijiNKS ensue tackles Lost's finale again, this time for Season 5. No, I don't get that backpack H-Bomb either.
I do like their quote from below the comic: "(Jack Shephard is)... a few fish biscuits short of a box of DHARMA fish biscuits, if you know what I mean."
Damon Carlton and a Polar Bear

From the poster series being revealed at Damon Carlton and a Polar Bear comes a poster by artist Olly Moss, who envisions what Locke would be as a classic movie, and is also probably the only truly funny poster of the bunch so far... Although I admit I really like the Eko and Smokey one. Check out the artist's website too, you might recognize some of his T-shirt designs from Threadless.com.
