Face Painting
Welcome to LostROFL's first "face painting edition"! The image above is from the deviantart account of user Buuya, who was the artist featured in our Lost Month Challenge post.
The image below is from LostROFL reader Andrea.
Now these images make us wonder, who would look funniest with a painted-on mustache? Smokey or Keamy maybe?

We haven't browsed through artists at deviantart for a while, and we just came across a few that are worth a look. This first post is from user Buuya. I think we'll do two posts on Buuya, and the first being a comic the artist did one day during an entire month of Lost art.
The artist writes: "Anyway, did anyone else think that Kate's reaction to Jack's speech basically summed up to, well, what the comic states? For serious. Bwahaha." We agree! Kate definitely has the punchline here. Ouch. Next post we'll cover some of this artist's caricatures.

Richard P. Alpert... s5e11

Well, if you know the pedobear meme, you'll get it. If not, you'll be shrugging your shoulders at a random Photoshop job.
Thanks to LostROFL readers Andrea and Jacob V. who both submitted pedoalpert!
Thanks for the comment to this post by Arinen, which made us dig up the exact quote Richard makes in this episode:
"If I take him, he's not ever gonna be the same again. What I mean is that...his innocence will be gone."
Caricatures ONE: Bartek Ostrowski

The artwork of Bartek Ostrowski
We'll be departing a bit from outright humor for the next few posts to a topic close to our heart: caricatures.
Bartek Ostrowski of Papiohead is one of my outright favorites: not photo-realistic, but not too exaggerated nor toony, with some nice graphic design-- and overall just effortless, not trying to hard as some caricatures can. The originals are available as gorgeous 1024x768 wallpaper. He has a selection of eight Others, and four Losties-- he even did a great Pickett! But Alpert and Mikhail are my faves, although he does have a very unique (and successful) take on both Ben and Jack compared to other artists.
See all of Bartek's Lost caricatures at full resolution here at Papiohead.com.
His Papiohead co-conspirator Marta Ostrowska also has a set of Lost caricature wallpapers here, although I only really liked the Charlie-Claire and Sawyer ones.
