Caricatures TWO: Kevin Keele

The artwork of Kevin Keele
Another caricaturist of Lost that really rings true is Kevin Keele. His Desmond and Claire portraits are very evocative and beautiful, and he has done several more including a very funny pop-eyed one of Ben.
See all of his caricatures (Lost and otherwise) here at his Be Awesome blog. If the link doesn't load with images, scroll down on the menu column at right to "LABELS" and click "Caricatures/Portraits".
Caricatures ONE: Bartek Ostrowski

The artwork of Bartek Ostrowski
We'll be departing a bit from outright humor for the next few posts to a topic close to our heart: caricatures.
Bartek Ostrowski of Papiohead is one of my outright favorites: not photo-realistic, but not too exaggerated nor toony, with some nice graphic design-- and overall just effortless, not trying to hard as some caricatures can. The originals are available as gorgeous 1024x768 wallpaper. He has a selection of eight Others, and four Losties-- he even did a great Pickett! But Alpert and Mikhail are my faves, although he does have a very unique (and successful) take on both Ben and Jack compared to other artists.
See all of Bartek's Lost caricatures at full resolution here at Papiohead.com.
His Papiohead co-conspirator Marta Ostrowska also has a set of Lost caricature wallpapers here, although I only really liked the Charlie-Claire and Sawyer ones.

Following in the theme from our last posting, this is for those who are having withdrawals from the first ARG, The Lost Experience. Very nicely done.
If the first clip doesn't ring a bell, you need to see the original, the "Sri Lanka" video here.
Lost Corporate Sponsors

Anyone remember the first and best season-hiatus alternate reality game for Lost? It was called The Lost Experience. One strange thing though was blatant commercial sponsorship of the game, with the likes of Monster.com, Amazon.com, Verizon, Sprite, and Jeep. This graphic by artist Ben Shannon for Exclaim! magazine illustrated the unwanted absurdity perfectly.

A little while ago, fellow blogger BauerUK on his Glass of Orange blog posted on the topic of Unintentionally Sexual ‘Lost’ Screencaps, so we found our own too. Right back atchya.
Huuurley
This is an old one, but if you haven't seen it yet it's classic. It's a very special clip from the Jimmy Kimmel Live show featuring Jorge for "Hurley".
In real life of course, we have
Josh Holloway for Davidoff
and
Evangeline Lilly for Davidoff
and
Matthew Fox for L'Oreal (also in English)
Which do you think is the best? the worst?
